Cathedral Choir

Throughout the year, children across school take part in a number of taught sessions as part of the Leeds Diocese Cathedral Choir's childrens programme. Children thoroughly enjoy being taught by expereinced and passionate teachers through the Leeds Diocese. Through our partnership with the programme, a number of our children are selected to form part of the Leeds Diocese Cathedral Chidlren's choir.

St Nicholas Choir and Partership Concerts

Building on the work of the Cathedral Choir, music is an integral part of worship and the catholic life here at St Nicholas. Children across school take part in the annual partnership concert at Leeds Trinity University with other Catholic Schools across the city.

Our choir use their voices to worship as part of school masses and services throughout the church's calendar such as Christmas Eve mass and the celebration of Sacraments. 

Strengthening relationships with our Parish community, the children of St Nicholas visit local homes for the elderly to use their voices as an uplifting spirit as well as joining the parishioners over Christmas time to sing at their christmas lunches and get togethers.
