On our blog page, you will find resources to help support your child's learning and some photographs to show their journey through the year.

Topic Leaflets

Each term the children will be sent home with a topic leaflet explaining what they will be taught each term.

Homework

The children will recieve a library book and spellings every Tuesday, to be completed for the following Monday. Please make sure you return the library book to ensure you get a new one each week.

Year 2 - Please check the Mathletics website to complete the weekly Maths homework.

This term, the homework focus is Humanities.

In History, the children will be learning about Toys from the Past.

Please refer to the homework lealfet for the different activities your child can do at home.

This term, the homework focus is STEM.

In Science, the children will be learning about Animals.

Please refer to the homework leaflet for the different activities your child can do at home.

This term, the homework Art and DT.

In Art, the children will be learning how to make birds.

Please refer to the homework leaflet for the different activities your child can do at home.

Don't forget to access our online applications, all children have recieved their passwords.

Please ask if you need the passwords again.

Reading Books

 

Read, Write INC.

 

The children will bring home two different types of books.

One is a Read, Write Inc. phonics book, this needs to be brought to school every day for their phonics lessons.

The other is a library book, this will be sent home on a Tuesday and needs to be brought back every Monday along with the homework.

These books are to share as a family, make it a fun reading experience for your children!
