​​​​​​At St Nicholas Catholic Primary School, we are committed to ensuring that every child has the opportunity to flourish, achieve their potential and fully participate in school life.

The Pupil Premium is additional funding provided to schools to improve educational outcomes for disadvantaged pupils. We use this funding strategically to identify and address barriers to learning, strengthen high-quality teaching and provide targeted academic and wider support where it will have the greatest impact.

Our approach is rooted in knowing our children and families well. We regularly review the needs of our pupils, the provision we put in place and the impact it is having, ensuring that our Pupil Premium strategy responds to the needs of our school community.

• Number of pupils in receipt of funding – 87 (32% of the school population)
• Total fund generated by Pupil Premium 2013 – 2014: £82,800
• Number of pupils in receipt of funding – 89 (31% of the school population)
