‘Love one another, as I have loved you’

A very warm welcome from all of us at St. Nicholas Catholic Primary School. If you are just visiting our website out of curiosity, I hope you find it interesting. If you are an existing parent, I hope it helps keep you up to date, and if you are a prospective parent, I hope it gives you a flavour of who we are. If it raises any questions, please do get in touch - we would only be too pleased to answer them.
Our mission, 'Love one another, as I have loved you,' is at the heart of everything we do. Our aim at St. Nicholas is to provide all our children with the skills necessary to be active members of their communities, wherever they might be, and to continually develop as life-long learners. We want to give them the abilities to get the most out of life, whilst remembering that as we live our lives based on Gospel values and Catholic Social Teaching, we are here to serve each other, using our gifts to support and provide for others in their need. This must all happen in a spirit of partnership with all who see our children as 'precious gifts'.
This school is a very special place to learn – many have described it as an 'oasis' in a very busy world. It is somewhere children feel safe, secure and loved for who they are.
God bless,
