At St Nicholas Catholic Primary School, we are proud of the achievements and progress of our children. Assessment is used carefully throughout school to celebrate success, understand how well pupils are learning and identify where further support or challenge may be needed.

Children take part in statutory national assessments at different points during their primary education, including the Phonics Screening Check in Year 1, the Multiplication Tables Check in Year 4 and Key Stage 2 assessments (SATs) in Year 6.
