School Council

The school council have had two meetings already and have decided that we are going to work towards improving our playground. We have discussed zoning the playground and children in school would like more equipment to play with at break and lunchtime. It is our aim to raise money through fund raising events and monthly juice and biscuit sales. This money will be used entirely on the children at school.

We have also discussed having reading boxes in the sheltered areas in KS1 and KS2 playgrounds. If you have any books that are in good condition, that you would like to donate to school, feel free to bring them in and your child will win 20 house points per book.

A new buddy box has been put in the KS2 playground to encourage children who might feel upset or worried, to share their feelings so they can be resolved efficiently. We care so much about each other that we want to make sure everyone is happy in school.

Our next meeting is due to be held during the first week back at school in the new year. If you have anything you would like to discuss or an issue you would like to raise, please inform your year group school councilor.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas,

God Bless,

Tia
