The Friends of St Nicholas would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family and hope that you enjoy your time spent with us in these primary years of your child's education.
Who are the Friends?
The Friends are a group of parents, past parents & teachers who fund raise to provide those “little extras” for the children of this school. Some of the things we provide are Christmas entertainment, Easter prizes, Leavers' Bibles and social events. We have also just purchased a stage for school productions.
When your child enters school life you automatically become members of the Friends.
We understand not everyone wants to be active members, but we would gladly welcome any new members that would like to be involved it can be as little or as much as you like.
Meetings are as and when needed. There are only 3 to 4 meetings a year, usually falling on the second Thursday of selected months at 6pm. We will inform you of the dates via the weekly newsletter. Meetings only last 30 to 45mins and are very friendly and informal.
Don’t worry if meetings are not your thing, we always need reliable volunteers for social events or maybe you have a skill that may be of use to us, we would be very grateful of any help you are willing to provide.
The Friends look forward to your Family joining St Nicholas School and hope that you will consider joining our friendly team so that we can continue to provide our contribution to the partnership of St Nicholas.
